Murray Darling unique soils, ranging from brown to red-brown loams and sands, combined with innovative methods from a new generation of winemakers, make it one of the most interesting Australian wine regions. This is a territory of Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon but more and more wineries start working with Italian varieties, such as Pinot Grigio, Vermentino, Sangiovese and Barbera.
